Rich, regal and celestial. This hand polished heart of lapis lazuli is a deep ultramarine blue, flecked with golden pyrite and soft white calcite, so no two stones are ever alike. The heart is held in place by sculptural strands of gold tone wire, finished with a hand coiled bail at the top. It hangs from a knotted leather cord necklace with an adjustable length.

Lapis lazuli has been prized for over six thousand years and was once ground into ultramarine pigment for Renaissance painters. It is traditionally associated with wisdom, truth and self expression.
